What Is In Your Hands?
This is the first picture I took when I decided to launch Oludan in April 2016. I shot it with my cell phone’s camera. It was what I had in my hands at that point in time and I was bent on making the most of it. Getting a professional photographer or equipment was out of the question. This was a new venture and getting the ball rolling with what was available was my priority.
I had no fashion experience, no mentor, no team, no marketing or sales experience, no road map, no nothing! All I had was raw determination to get things going and figure out the rest organically. The pictures in this post are the result of the click of chance I took with the camera of fate - the rest is history.
What do you have in your hands right now? What is that thing you want to do but feel you can't? Are you busy looking at others and letting the wave of inadequacy almost drown you with pity party waves? Or are you waiting for the perfect time to get your dream going? I hate to burst your bubble but there is no such thing as the perfect time.
It is time to quit letting your vision accumulate dust on the shelf of doubt. Enough already. Your time to arise and shine has come.
Encourage yourself with positive affirmations. Get up and run with that dream of yours. Just do it by taking the first step today.
Although Oludan is still a work in progress, the most important thing is the foundation has been laid and I will keep building on it till I get it totally right.
The time to birth your dream is now. Start!
Until next time, happy birthing.
